Need some help with lags

Last 3 weeks, I've been lagging, alot. Also random freezes like every 10th second. I've tried other pcs at the same times, they doesn't lag. So, some time ago I heard there was a "code" or more like a word or something that people wrote after the "C:\Program\TibiaTibia.exe". Simply, what I'm looking for is that code now, since I can't remember it myself.

Do you lag less with other Graphic engines, like DX5, 9 or openGL?

Well, in one way yes.
if I use dx 9 the lags are less but longer.

I've got freezes more or less the last days. Cip wrote something about that they've been attacked by some dos thing. Tried all graphics engines, OGL works best for me. Any more tip?

I might got the solution for you. Or not for you but maybe for Yacob. It isn't a "solution" but it's an answer for your question... or perhaps... whatever.

Do you got Bredbandsbolaget as internet provider? I have a couple of friends that has the same problem as me and its huge daily lags and all of us has Bredbandsbolaget.

I havn't got bbb. I got glocalnet :P but the lags have stopped now :D
