Hey
I saw some guys one this forum and instead of the original colors on tibia behind the skill bars they had black..
And my question ís: Where can i download it?
If somebody answers i would be very happy :) :angel: :happy:

I have reason to believe you're wrong about this. However, I'll contact CipSoft and ask them about it. Until I receive an answer, we consider it legal.
Until we get an answer, we shouldn't consider it legal at all, that's like saying "we don't know if murder is legal in this country, so until we know, we'll consider it legal"
I've been told by about 3 GM's that it's illegal to modify the client in anyway since you could be changing something in the game which gives you an advantage, and CipSoft won't be able to determan if you've changed anything or not.
1) You can't change a shit ingame with the .pic file.
2) Three supported fansite owners I've asked, all said it's not illegal.
3) It doesn't say in the guidelines for fansites that it's illegal.

It's true that modifying tibia is illegal, but exchanging the .pic file is not modifying it :|
That's just replacing it! xD
You can change your .pic file, it is not illegal because it doesn't give you any advantages in the game.
And yes, I asked a Gamemaser about this.
I was almost banned by GM Borceforth (A very active and experienced GM) and he told me that it is illegal.

I don't care what Gamemasters says. I want to know what CipSoft says about this.
Well Borr is a good Gamemaster (one of about 4), and I've had confirmation from Issalia a few months back when we delt with this situation on Tibia.no.
It's fun to see the different opinions of the Gamemasters :)
Well, i dont think gamemasters should have with the thing to do, their only "mission" is to keep tibia clean from hackers, cheaters etc., so their "mission" is only things INGAME, they have nothing to do with the client. The client is CIP's thing... So if someone should ban me for using a illegal client it should be CIP, not a GM. So i would ask CIP if it is legal, if it is, i would complain about the stupid GM's that would ban you if you had another pic file, but since CIP is almost as the gamemasters they wouldn't do anything

CIP = ABOUT THE CLIENT(in this case anyway)

It doesn't matter which GM said what now. I've sent a mail to Cip, and until I get an answer, we consider it legal.
Reasons:
1) The guidelines for fansites do not say .pic files is illegal to change.
2) Cip have never told me before.
3) It's not illegal on any other fansite.

World of Tibia, aka WoT, have never been supported ;) It's not long ago since the Supported Fansite program came out, and they never were a part of that.
They did host the official Tibia forums many years back though.

WoT was the first Tibia fansite, and some God's registered to check it out (Knightmare I think was the only one), however the supported fansites only came out in 2004. (The first 3 being TibiaNews, TibiaBR and Erig.net (I think)).

I'm pretty sure it was Tibia.pl instead of Erig. Erig didn't become supported in the beginning.
Might have been Tibia.pl, I know it was TN and TibiaBR for sure.

I've seen meny discussions about this on TibiaNews and i'm almost sure it's legal. Becouse you won't get an advantege as everybody says. That Gm may have heard about illigal chaging tibia client but he porbebly missed this spot.
You don't gain an advantage, but CipSoft don't know that it's impossible for you not to get one.

I've have not seen him post sence i joined (march).

Borr is an administrator of TN, he joined before me and was promoted and was hardly seen again, he makes his posts (if any) in the staff board. Atleast he didn't do what Thuddy did and brown nose until he got a GM position, and Sabaru-sama pretending to be a girl.
Also, On tibianews there is a staff member posting the skin for downloading and none has told him to not do it. The thread has been up for some time and if anyone wants the link. Pm me.
I think I know what you're talking about, and I think I complained about it but was un-answered because the staff are, well idiots.

The cookie lovers are gone. Subaru-sama is inactive and 'm glad that he stopped. Ex is probebly Subaru and I don't like him. To bad he is the only one to update the forums. But soon Thuddy, Cantinelle will update them with a fix.
Lets see, Excessus quit to make little cartoons and to run a "business", Subaru-sama was never really active, I've seen his real picture, he's funny. And Thuddy pretended to be a girl for over a year and even married a famous high level.
I only post in one section of the Tibianews forum; Screenshot thread. And that is because there often are some nice screens.
I post everywhere on Tibianordic (except on private part of forum where I obviously don't have acces). Need I say more?

I doubt they are, since they've always treated me/us with respect.

Please refrain from editing these files. This is considered as manipulating the Tibia client and could lead to a banishment. It does not matter if this gives you any advantage or not.
So, from now on, it's not allowed to post edited .pic files here. Sorry.
